Garry Holstein

Juror

Garry Holstein is a practicing artist, educator, and administrator serving as the Director of Daum Museum of Contemporary Art, Sedalia, MO. In this position, he provides access to the arts for all ages through community engagement, exhibition development, and the cultivation of the permanent collection. Before joining SFCC, he was the Director of Bradbury Art Museum and New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art.  He holds an MFA in Visual Design and MA in Organizational Communication from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana. He has organized exhibitions and events on the local, regional, national, and international levels. Through his efforts, he seeks to enhance the quality of life in the region through diverse and exciting programming, foster dialogue in the community, and provide opportunities for creative professionals.
