“Atlanta Infrastructure and Public Art: What Are the Possibilities"

The Infrastructure Public Art Panel is designed to provide arts
administrators, urban design planners, architects, parks and recreation
administrators, government officials and artists with a variety of
contemporary forward thinking approaches to the integration of Public
Art into urban infrastructure projects. Unique and cutting edge examples
of artistic projects that have been integrated into infrastructure
construction projects across the breath of the United States will be
presented by several nationally recognized artist in the field.
The
presentation will also introduce the initiative by the City of Atlanta
to spend approximately 12 million dollars on Public Art Infrastructure
projects starting in 2017 and concluding in 2019.
