MSA Sculpture Conference Registration
Tours, demos, and discussion groups listed below are inclusive in the conference fee. However, advanced registration is required due to seat limitations. You will need the code sent to you in your conference registration acknowledgement email in order to register.
Fab Lab Tour & Demo
Thursday Oct 4th, 3 sessions at 2,3, & 4:00pm
525 N Gay St, Knoxville, TN 37917
The Fab Lab is a 20,000 square-foot educational maker space north of downtown Knoxville. It is a part of the College of Architecture and Design, but is open to students and faculty from all departments at The University of Tennessee. Tours of this facility will include technical demonstration of CNC milling, water jet cutting tool, 3D printing and robotic assisted fabrication tools. Materials will include metals, wood, and plastics. Each tour will run 45 minutes and begin at 2, 3, & 4pm. Paper Casting and Its Potential
